Published her first written work in 2019 in the Pride in Our Heritage Essays. Jackie Johnson published her first written work in 2019 in the Pride in Our Heritage Essays, Conversations & Sayings to Live By as an essay contest winner. Jackie’s love for writing stories and reading books began as a young girl. She has written poetry highlighting the beauty of Black women and encouraging young girls to embrace and love themselves. She has also penned many Christian and motivational writings. Jackies passion is to uplift and encourage others. She also enjoys connecting people to help them reach their goals and focuses her time advocating for and supporting underserved communities.
Jackie is a second-generation Arizona native and a graduate of Arizona State University. She enjoys mentoring and inspiring others through her love of writing, sharing stories, and public speaking.
